Am so pissed. Cleaned the pan and the pipe (arrowed), and now I misplaced it; still looking for it in the garage. I remember cleaning it. Called two wreckers in the lower-48 and they don't have it separately. Anyone know where I can get one?
Cheers

Keep looking and you'll find it.
I'm in the process of building a 32' x 28' shop. With no garage in this house I got 18 months ago my tools are scattered within utility room, extra bedroom and front porch. Cannot wait to get it completed!

Yippie!!!
Found the pipe about an hour ago. Shamefully to say it was sitting in plain sight. Wifey and I are dumbfounded how we could have missed it all these days; baffling. Am so excited and now, back to work on the car.
Thanks you all.

Toss the parts in a bright colored plastic tote as you disassemble. Then you just need to locate the bright colored tote to find the part. Same goes for bolts and nuts in a can. Do put the bolt can in the tote so you don't loose track of them all.

That's too easy, I'd rather degrease my bolts in the bathroom sink and leave them to soak, then immediately go overhaul my PCV and drop my oil pan while I'm busy overloading my short-term memory!RickHaleParker wrote: ↑15 Oct 2021, 20:25Toss the parts in a bright colored plastic tote as you disassemble. Meanwhile, I might toss a random pan bolt in my oil drain reservoir just for fun. Banjo bolts go in the garbage disposal, just to make sure I order freshies.
