Since 850's are getting scarce, and since wagons with the manual trans were vanishingly rare in DC to begin with, it would still be a good starting point. Unfortunately, the local scrap yards are greedy for catalytic converters; sometimes they cut them out and simply crush the rest of the car for weight. What year cars could that 850 manual transmission be swapped in to? Seems like the car is at least a good donor for that transmission.
If that were at the NH branch of Capital Auto Auction, I would have a very hard time resisting that purchase.
