Surely Abscate needs this to add to his collection! Don't think he has one of these yet?

That 855 looks complete and it's a manual, but financially still looks like a sinkhole...

Since 850's are getting scarce, and since wagons with the manual trans were vanishingly rare in DC to begin with, it would still be a good starting point. Unfortunately, the local scrap yards are greedy for catalytic converters; sometimes they cut them out and simply crush the rest of the car for weight. It would be a sad end for a running car.

What year cars could that 850 manual transmission be swapped in to? Seems like the car is at least a good donor for that transmission.

If that were at the NH branch of Capital Auto Auction, I would have a very hard time resisting that purchase.
