'06 S80 FWD 2.5T. I've got 225/50/R17 road tires on it and I am trying to find used snow tires for at least a winter or two till upgrade my Volvo.
If I use the stock rims, what other tire sizes can I use? I'll only put like 5k on them over 2 years.
Thanks.
Winter Tires alternatives to 225/50/R17

I stick with Blizzaks. They are like riding on a rail. Excellent in the snow.

You can go with sizes 205/55/17, 225/45/R17, 215/50/R17, 205/50/R17, 225/55/R17, 215/55/R17
I often use these 2 tires in winter Blizzak WS90 and VikingContact 7, which are great on snow and ice.
