Check valve in the brake line, too

This solved the issue for me, and never came back. I ended up replacing the entire intake with the valve as an assembly and has run like a champ ever since.

That’s a great “ never have to worry about it “ for 20 years part, and finding those check valves new was problematic, too.

I usually put silicone around there to make a tight seal. That thing always seems to leak a bit when smoke testing.
