Bridgewater Volvo did two driver's airbag safety recall replacements for me. In and out in 35 min.

First appointments of the day. No hassles and prompt service. Can't ask for more, but I lost my nice "R" leather steering wheel center boss.

Could you please clarify - did they swap in a non-badged airbag? How well does the upholstery match? Could you post up a pic of the replacement? My R is due for this too, just wondering what I will get.

You will get a black plastic cover with a non R chromed plastic Volvo badge. The color of the plastic is not as dark as the black leather balance of the wheel. It is noticeably different from the original, but if a guest driver were using your vehicle, they might not notice the difference.

Nice faux leather grain in the plastic too.
