CT leaves Nov 2021

Post by abscate »

Beautiful today..ferry from Port Jeff, slipped up 8, then Route 7 up to Williamstown, then Routec2 back to NY

Bit windy on the Sound, deck was rolling a bit

Maddie really likes Dunkin hash browns

Had to stop on Route 8 just North of Winsted and move a fallen dead tree blocking both lanes. A couple of truckers got out and helped me , too. Has about a 50 car back up.

Leaves beautiful in CT, but starting to drop in MA and in NY

Shagg is running well for Caitlin in Mass. I have to think a bit about long term maintenance as she drives a brutal 3 KM to work when she doesn’t walk. If she takes her puppy to the dog park in Pittsfield, thst will get Shagg hot for the week….

Nice photos. I am going to Wilbraham, MA tomorrow and will be taking Frieda the 240. I think at least one way I will take the backroads up RT 7 and enjoy the scenery at a slow pace :)

Oh, they did. I didn't do anything to the color, that's straight out of my phone. They're just naked trees now.
