M56 is a FWD transaxle. The first generation V90 is RWD.
*face slap* I shouldve realized that!

In the old country (Scotland) the company I worked for used an executive limo service and he only used Volvo 960 Executive/Royal cars in Nautic Blue. Those were beautiful cars, so quiet and fast too!

They were all sedans, but I would like a good V90 if I could find one. The 'R' would then have to go. Having said that they are even harder to find parts for than the 'R'!

..... Someone is going to get killed because of this delay in acceleration.
What delay? Volvo went back to all 4 cylinders because they can squeeze plenty of power out of a 2.0L . The highest number I seen so far for one of the new four cylinders is 350 hp. The red blocks had less power and yet Volvo still achieved one of the highest safety ratings in the industry.

To waste limited resources on excess power is irresponsible. Excess power gets people killed. Just look at the number of people that crashed a Challenger SRT Hellcat just a few hours after purchase.

The way to increase safety and protect the environment is to limit the power to weight ratio. Volvo has figured that out and is applying it. I am happy Volvo is looking out for people and not putting death machines on the road.
There is a delay in not just Volvo but other manufacturer's as well.

The delay I speak of is when I press on the pedal, sometimes to the floor, and the car barely moves. This doesn't happen in my Volvo, nor my Nissan.

Death machines-HAHAHAH
