Hello l! I'm having a problem with the brake pedal in my 93 240 sedan.
When coming back up the pedal will hang up and then click and travel farther back. Here's a video link where I'm pushing it down and letting off.
Also is there supposed to ba a rubber stop in the bracket that the pedal bumps into to stop it travelling back?

Can you see what's on the other side of the firewall? There must be some kind of bushing/ linkage. Perhaps that just needs to be lubricated?

Could that be from a badly adjusted pushrod?
So far on this car I've replaced all four rotors and calipers, new parking brake shoes, and flushed the fluid out. No change in the pedal feel. It does travel a bit before it starts stopping. Also if the pedal is in the farthest back position in the video I get brake chatter and binding, but if it's in the more forward position there are no problems.
