I have 1999 Volvo V70 Weird thinks happened to this Car ,I can not put in drive from Park, Don't have any error Code, Work only in cold weather have to do with Temperature ,Somebody can tell me with switch sensor I have to replace .

Good morning David

This is probably a key switch sticking problem that is stopping your shifter from operating correctly

Try the little over-ride button on the console to see if that helps

Thanks A Captain in a Sea of Estrogen ,It's Neutral Safety Switch, It's inside of Automatic Transmission Selector Box

Have a coil When it's hot do not want to work, I have to replace it

I am not sure you got what abscate was saying. There should be a small push button just to the right of your gearshift lever. It should have 'SHIFTLOCK OVERRIDE' written by it. If you press this at the same time as moving the gear lever it will allow you to move the gearshift.

Coil failure is not un-common with the age of these cars. If you are planning to use used ones, check under the rubber boot for cracks in the plastic of the coil body. They can run in this condition but they will fail again.

The problem it's Neutral Safety Switch, Don't have to press on SHIFTLOCK OVERRIDE to move from Park to Drive.
