Is there a way to test a 98 EVAP system?

The p0442 code and EVAP system generally. I have a smoke machine which works fine. Where does it input to the EVAP system to leak test? Are there multiple locations which should be tested? 1998/1999 S70 non turbo.

There is an EVAP valve on the RHS of the radiator when viewed from the front of the car. There is a plastic hose that runs to the back of the car. If you can remove that you can at least test everything to the back of the car. Then there is a hose on the other end on a 98 which has the Carbon can under the LHF fender just in front of the wheel, you can do the same by smoking the pipe that runs to the carbon canister and to the exhaust valve tucked up behind the front LH wheel. I would suggest that the normal faults in the system are:

1) Leaking valves
2) On the front carbon canister, pipes into and out of the carbon can. For later FWD cars that have the carbon can under the RHR passenger seat, the pipes again into and out of the carbon can and to the rollover valve.
3) I also suggest removing the access cover behind the RHR seat in the trunk and checking for leaks there while you run the smoke test.
