Thank you Rick for your reply.
I found the language packs in my previous HD (the previous PC had VIDA 2013 installed).

I applied the procedure you mentioned above. I surely did something wrong... after clicking on FR shortcut, when I launch VIDA, enters 4 and logins, it tells me that the language is not the one used during install. I'm stuck at this point now...

I am thinking the language pack need to be added to the install DVD. Where and how I don't know.

The patch is a self executing WinRAR archive. %VIDA_HOME%patch\filldb.cmd'. referrers to a path within the archive. For some reason your system is having trouble with the archive. Bad sectors due to download errors can cause this. Delete the patch and try download it again.

Thanks for the suggestion RickHaleParker. Unfortunately I am still not able to run the patch successfully. Really at a loss at this point and not sure what to do.

OK, So I went out and purchased a cheap windows machine (I was previously using my wife's) and did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro. I was able to run the scripts and patch, but now I am getting the following message:

"VIDA cannot start as port 80 in already in use"

Unfortunately, it is in use by a system process and cannot be stopped. Ripping out my hair at this point, which is talent considering I m already bald haha. Please help, I am not a Windows guy.

Try this:

Click the start menu
Type in Services
Sort by Name
Scroll down to World Wide Web Publishing Service (W3SVC) and disable it

UX3 upgrades the VIDA interface so that it work better with today's higher restitution screens.

1. Get VIDA up and running
2. Down load the Zip file below.
3. Unpack the UX3 Zip file.
4. Run the UX3 executable to install.
5. Restart Windows.
6. Wait for VIDA monitor to turn green.
7. Start VIDA.
8. Done

Looking to get VIDA. The iso on the first post in this thread is greyed out for me, is there another way to download it?

Edit: I figured it out. Had to YouTube how to use qBittorrent. Thanks for your post!

Hi
Installed vida according to guide, works fine (gets all car information) until i go to diagnostics page and want to check fault codes. When i click on fault trace or any other tab in diagnostics exept information tab i get this error:

So i googled that error and in most cases people were missing NET Framework 3.5, but i have it enabled as in the 1 point of the guide:

Im using windows 10 laptop with J2534 MongoosePRO JLR interface (i know i should have gotten dice interface but they seem crazy expensive or not avaible here at the moment - also can't find chinese versions on aliexpress anymore).

I've tried:
- disabling an reenabling net framework 3.5 (so it installs once again)
- using vida with enabled/disabled framework 4.8
- using ie11 as well as ie tab plugin in edge
- lowering all security in ie11 options
- unistalling vida and sql server and installing it once again
- installing net framework 3.5.1 (sp1 patch for net framework 3.5) - but it doesnt seem to do anything on windows 10

Unfortunately nothing seem to help. Do you guys have any idea how to get it to work?
