Yes it does, when I pull the 15 amp fuse that is labeled ignition switch contact system (that I have to remove and reinstall to get the car to start) the door chime stops when the fuse is removed. It seems to me these are tied together to my problem somehow I just have not figured it out yet, I have had this frustrating issue for over a year, having to pull the fuse every single time before I can start and drive the car.wizechatmgr wrote: ↑15 Dec 2021, 05:53If you leave the key in the ignition and open the door, does your key reminder chime 'chime'?subzerocarfanatic wrote: ↑13 Dec 2021, 14:45 So far I have not found any loose chassis ground. Still looking and praying I can figure this gremlin out. It has to be something simple because the car starts and runs fine as long as I pull the Ignition fuse each time before starting, but who wants to do that every time. (
I have a question, should the fuses and relays in the kidney shaped fuse box on shock tower, should they have same voltage as battery even when key is off ?
