Rick mentioned a Tbs.of lite lite oil in my plugs so I can't use 5w30 or not.

5W is light weight for motor oil.

It is not a critical requirement. It is a suggestion to improve the odds of success. The idea is use to something that flows when cold. So that it can get between the cylinder walls and pistons. Something that is runny not thick has a better chance of flowing down between the pistons and cylinder walls.

Would be on the expensive side but, flooding the top of the pistons with Liquid Wrench should work well if this is going to work.

I've been reading up on these,and the seaform sounds promising,I really don't know, I took out the plugs without lubing the plugholes yet and no it's not budging ☹️

Seafoam is good for getting carbon out and letting stuck rings pop back out. Seafoam is a cleaner not a lubricant.

You need something that might free up the pistons. We are thinking when it got hot the surface between the pistons and cylinder walls went dry and friction is holding it back. If this is the case and you can get some lubricant between the pistons and cylinder walls it might free up and move. That is if the cylinder walls are not damaged.

Ok so I will get some lubricant oil next time I'm in town. If I use some 5 w now and it's not a go can I try something different like the marvel? Just curious. I've always kept clean oil and antifreeze in her. I don't understand why she got a hole in the lower radiator hose and blew. There's a reason for that.went ahead and put some 5w in the plug holes will try tomorrow.Thanks guys

Since this is just a diagnostic experiment, I agree with the others; no need to get too specific here, or spend big money. The secret ingredient in Seafoam - according to the ChemoGeeks over on Bob's - is 'odorless kerosene.' If there is something lightly stuck, that might be enough to help you decide if the motor will spin. Don't put a high volume in any one cylinder; if you do break it loose, what you put in must come out.
If during the overheating sequence a cylinder wall cracked, there could be so much mechanical interference lubrication won't be able to overcome it, and the motor will need to come apart. These engines really don't like to get hot.
