How clean is your top end cylinder head cover ?

Hey, that's cheating! Unless the new official MVS recommendation is to disassemble your engine every year for internal cleaning...

My recently acquired questionable service history 850 T5 doesn't look nearly that good.. It almost looks like the previous owner poked around with a screwdriver given the scratches on the right.

The second most common use of a screw driver - poking at things. Third most common use is a dull chisel.

#1 Loose engagement with a screw and applying minimal torque. Until it slips and 1) pokes your body or 2) scratches your stuff.
