240 wagon... Does anyone know how to remove the rear seat?

Hi,

I have an 89 240 wagon and I need to install a new (used) rear seat.
I was able to successfully remove the reat seat (bottom) but the seat back is almost impossible.

I hate the haynes book because it is always so vague.

I see a retaining clip on both wheel wells and pivot I guess from the seat on both sides lodged into the retaining clips.

I can't get it out.

I even unzipped the two zippers from the two sides to see if there is something inside the seat like a lever and I can't figure this out.

Any ideas?
