I want to ID the plastic and see if I can repair the hanging tabs, which is what breaks when you hit the curb

Look carefully on the air guide surface for letters identifying the plastic. Surely it says somewhere "ABS", "PP", "PVC", etc.

The Jane Bond original Volvo air dam was in decent shape with only one big crack on the left side. It held up well scraping over snow banks and hitting curbs. I haven't found one in a junkyard yet thanks to cars being belly down in the mud.

I can’t find a single mark on it Denoting the plastic type.

Try the Loctite Plastic Bonding System if you can find it. It is a primer and bonder system. It says for all plastic types including hard to bond Polyethylene and Polypropylene. I think I bought at ACE.

If I can dig one of my spares out of the snowbank, I'll try a few chemicals on it in the morning. I have some ABS cement that works on other stuff on the cars. A few drops of acetone can tell a story too.

Not home, but in recent past, I did repair the end tab on one, that bolts to the inner skirt:

Those dainty little tabs that go in the slot on the bottom of the bumper cover might be a whole 'nuther sport.

I have one of those HF plastic welders, which I used on the 850 fuel tank. Could you clamp those pieces and melt them together, or melt a bead with a strip of the same kind of plastic?

Parts geek shows the APA or URO one out of stock

IPD has an aftermarket but it’s $90mplus $80 dimensional shipping. Ugh

I stupidly sold my spare to a friend who had broken theirs. Since then I have never found even a remotely salvageable on in the junkyard.
