Thanks misha. I confess I wasn't aware that the options/choices here were that black/white. Looking at what I got, my wires were NKG's, cap bosch, rotor Standard Motor Products, plugs champion. I will pull them and check the gap. Do you know off-hand what it needs to be for the Turbo?

0.026"(0.6)or 0.028"(0.7mm).

It is better to re-install your old original rotor instead of that aftermarket junk...which btw....i never heard about.

Thanks misha, old parts are long gone ;-)
Re-gapped plugs, they were all around 30+, and not all the same - sigh - took them down to 28. Will see over time if this makes a diff ;-)

It’s MVS lore that Bougicord spark plug wires are the only ones that have been consistently problem free. The are run in close proximity on these cars so any quality issues in the wires will make them crossfire

abscate - are you indicating that there's a way to separate the wires just enough to not have the crossfire risk?

I won't talk for abscate, but there is an area where the wires pass under the top cover just by the top torque mount. This area and the cover can be tight to fit the wires in. I found in one car I had that the spark plug wires were crushed and shorting in that area.

The Bougicord branded parts are recommended as experience of man members is that they are the OE brand and seem to be very reliable. There are other brands out there like NGK and others but we have had mixed reports on the reliability of these brands. I have a friend whose car I worked on recently and saw it had NGK wires on it. Seemed to be running ok.

I like the look of 55 tires on P80s, fills the arches nicely
No rubbing issues on mine but my wheels are ET30 so that helps a lot

I've run 205/55/16 tires on my 2000 V70 for a decade. The fronts rub on the plastic at full lock. I've conditioned myself to turn to the lock, then back off a tad. Part of the problem could be my worn out, original suspension.
