The temperature sensor is so hidden. Guess it would be better to do it with the seal, so, I'll leave that job alone for now.ggleavitt wrote: ↑28 Dec 2021, 15:52 Yeah, about that t-stat. Given the position and holding everything in place while attaching, I've found it pretty easy for the outer wrapped t-stat gasket to move around in the housing channel and not allow the cover to fully seat. However you do it, just look for a thin concentric gap around the t-stat cover before you tighten everything down.
If you're serious about replacing the temp sensor, consider doing with a valve cover reseal if it's anywhere close to due.

The lower bolt. I have lot's of articulating tools, but can't really get to this bolt. Don't know what to do. I may have to give it another try. It is tough to do since the t-stat is slanted with the bolt. My hands are not that small to articulate good enough. That's a tough one.
