"I have locked my Volvo with a tiny cable onto this eye bolt screwed into an old timber, so don't mess with it!!"

One of my sons lost a nice bike from his "secure bike shed" at an old apartment. A key code entry, heavy bars on all the walls to lock to. But someone apparently gave away or sold the key code, the spotlights were burned out, and since they were inside this safe box, people used basic cable locks. Someone walked in, snipped the cables (only on the nice bikes) and walked away. The video camera had no light, and only saw the back of a head anyway.

Have you ever noticed how your enthusiasm for another project car changes completely when there's a foot on snow on everything, you're lucky your primary car starts, the garage is full of water from the snow dripping off, and it's usually 20F out there?

And you've shoved all the tools and parts for the current project into one side so that that primary car can go inside?

My outdoor (or unheated garage) work rule is:
If it is too cold or too hot to be moderately comfortable, then it is a day or time of day to go inside the comfortable house. I (or my wife) will usually have something else to do inside.

And the season/weather changes. At least here in Oklahoma, we can get very nice afternoons in January (like this week). But tomorrow the high will be in the 30's. I will be working inside on bathroom plumbing.

One tough Gramma!

I didn't do any car work yesterday, but I started cutting up all the foam insulation scraps I have and insulating a bare wall in the garage. 1 1/2", 2", misc. Kept it up as high as possible to at least slow the high heat down. Next years goal is to actually insulate this room.
