Head Light Bulb For 2005 XC90 On Amazon?

No idea your headlight setup, maybe post a photo of the front of the vehicle with both headlight assemblies clearly visible.

XC90 2005 is either Halogen H11 Low beam and H7 high (DRLs?) or it's Bi-Xenon D2R low and high beam with H7 functioning as DRL. Bi-Xenon ABL comes out after 2007 IIRC.

Looking at the electrical wiring diagram (EWD) for 2005, it appears you could plug a Halogen or Bi-Xenon assembly into the headlight connector and make it work. No codes being reported by the vehicle?

Here's from the Owner's Manual: Bi-Xenon headlight D2R (option), which is what I got.

The car is fully covered in snow, so there won't be a really clear photo.

Just curious again, is there any option of having a driving light, like a strip LED and not use the vehicle's head light? Saw a lot on those strip LED lights, some complain theirs went deem after a few months.

What's your thought?

Suggest you find a Halo small enough to go behind the trim ring / xenon cover. We separated our assembly but another C30 member said his Halo was slightly smaller so could just go on the back of the ring. Wire into parking light and it can be on all the time without issues and you won't have the DRL or headlights on.

Looks like Halogens for both hi and low beams. Take you own assembly and separate. From the seams it looks straight forward. Install Halo's on the hi beam as it hardly ever gets use. When the lo beam is on in the evening it won't heat up the Halo as it's on the other lens.

As mentioned before driving with only the parking lights switched on during day all your exterior lights will be on for safety and the DRL will be off.

Yes it is bright enough.
My next question, I would think all Volvos, especially, the older models would have the same lighting settings, with the low beam meant as Driving Light? I don't know about your model. Or, did you modify the settings to have the Angel Eye for driving, if so, where's the low beam? That lighting style is so cool!
