It is indeed. The Mustang spent the past 3 months at the Ford dealership waiting on parts, so I've moved the S70 temporarily into the Ford's spot indoors.
I want it and will see if I can hitch a ride with a friend to get there.

That's a clean and well taken care of car even with the current minor body and paint issues. Hope someone takes it and put some TLC into it. Will always have a thing for 98 silver. Only had it for 2 years but such a great ride / drive. T5 on 01 V70 15".

Just remember it runs for about 5min before going down 2 or even 3 cyls. And it needs a timing belt baaaaad. Like every time I start it, I fully expect it to lunch it's valvetrain. It should be trailered unless you like driving for 5 min, stopping for 2-3hrs, driving 5 min, repeat and living with the potential of t-belt failure and/or tire blowouts.
Current: 72 Datsun 240z, 89 745 turbo, 98 S70 Base 306k mi, 98 4Runner 367k mi, 16 4Runner Trail, 19 Mustang GT Premium

Past: 7 1985-1998 700/900/90 series turbo wagons, a bunch of 4Runners, an RX8, STI swapped w/DCCD 412 AWHP 05 Legacy GT wagon... Etc.

Oh I wish it was clean and well taken care of. It needs more work than it's worth at least 4 times over. It's rusty underneath, too.

I love it. But it's a bit of a basket case. I could probably sell it for scrap value but I'd rather have it go to an enthusiast... Who if they were in their right mind would probably sell it for scrap (pls don't tell me if you do).

If I had a place to store this, I would for the rest of my life just so I don't have to go through the heartbreak of watching it leave my driveway for the last time (and telling my siblings/mother about it - they all have fond memories of the car too).

ummmm i had planned to limp it back to Antlers Oklahoma. although i could bring plugs, wires, and a dist cap/rotor to possibly get rid of that idling/mis you talked about.

You may get the car to run better, but with old fuel in the tank and lines, it may well stall before you get it home. Unless you can get it on a trailer. Friends with trailers are good resources.

I understand. I'll probably buy a rotor and see if that fixes it. If so, maybe a timing belt. Space the repairs out over a few months.

Thanks for the interest.

Oh Man, I’m in NE Ohio, is the S70 still around? I’d definitely be interested in towing it home and fixing it all up!
Looking for a V90 to be my next Volvo, at the very least a T5.

2017 XC90 Inscription - My best Volvo by far, but Ex-wife departed & I had to sell. 😕
2001 S80 T6 - rebuilt trans, head gasket, fixed & sold
1997 V70 - kid car, sold
1996 850 GLT - found under bridge, 2 year refurb project, commuter car, kid car, T-Boned - SIPS saved passenger. Totaled.
1997 VW GTI VR6 - exceedingly fast.
1971 VW Type II/231 - it was pointed out by management that the children would be killed in it.
