I enjoy doing ill-advised desert adventuring in my '98 V70R, but I'd love to be able to self-extract easily with a ground anchor if I ever get stuck. I got stranded once and I refuse to get stranded again.
Has anyone successfully mounted a winch to a P80?
Winch mount?

These are way too low to be off road vehicles. Winch from the tow eye up front, I would just match those threads to attach a winch on the car fir a recovery

If you have a hitch there are many receiver hitch winch mounts available. Only allows recovery from rear though and need to have long cables to power it.
