Unfortunately nothing seem to help. Do you guys have any idea how to get it to work?

You might try:
1. Uninstalling VIDA, SQL and Mongoose Drivers.
2. Manually delete the VIDA folder in C:\.
3. Use CCleaner to clean up the Windows Registry.
4. Run the CCleaner Registry cleaner over until it finds no issues.
5. Reinstall everything using the scripts as instructed in the guide.

I think there maybe some artifacts in the Windows Registry from the first install. That do not get removed by the uninstaller.
There is a reason install .net framework 3.5 is the first step. It is about getting the windows environment ready.

Note: You can run VIDA in Microsoft Edge without the IE Tab extension, if you enable IE Mode in Edge and add http://localhost/Vida/ to the page list. You you will need to add http://localhost/Vida/ to the page list every 30 days.

I don't have Windows 11. But working with a somebody else we have confirmed IE TAB works in Windows 11. IE TAB is the better way to go.

hi all, these instructions and guides are brilliant!! much appreciated, defo switch of windows security built-in and i ran all patches right click run as admin with no issues. I have it all installed on win 10, can I use any obs2 to USB like?

For Windows 11 follow instructions above. Then install the IE TAB extension in Edge or Chrome. Use the extension to connect to and rendered VIDA.

Select the ISO, Left click and select mount from the list
.
Once you mount an ISO it behaves like a disk in a DVD drive.

Thank you RickHaleParker - I had to download a mount app. My windows 10 didn’t have that window in your top picture.
I really appreciate the way you’ve written these instructions, the time and effort you’ve put in and the patience you show.

First time installing VIDA - on Windows 10 laptop - thank you for effort and detail provided in setting up, including running the x64 version of ‘EnableIEHostingxxx.reg’ mentioned. I believe I followed instructions exactly, seemed to go fine, have managed to log in, enter my cars VIN & VIDA correctly decided my cars basic information. BUT that’s as far as it allows me to go ie: the ‘Diagnostics’ tab is not active, and the ‘Information’ tab is not populated with my cars information. - error (pop up) I’m getting on these (as shown in attached picture) is ‘GetCommToolSettingsObject(…)DiagnosticsAllowed is not a function’ - I’m at a loss what to do now. I’ve rebooted PC tried more than once - sane message.
I had a brief look at logs but with so much detail there I’m not sure what to be looking at. If relevant I’m based in Melbourne Australia (in case location affects operation / function)
Any assistance greatly appreciated
