I told you about how these missing items seem to raise to the surface of parts piles as if by magic! Now if they only did it when I need them!!

Great to hear there is further progress on Ekaterina! Must be getting close to a fully operational car?

Brakes are badly air locked. I finally got right rear to bleed by removing both bleeders and letting gravity flow fluid for three hours. Tomorrow, same deal on right rear

Still haven’t wrestled the fuel filler into place yet.

I’m eyeballing the AWD driveshaft.

Got all the exhaust hangers on , has a newish exhaust !

Tires need to be remounted , balanced , sealed.

She is really close, thanks to my two favourite groups…

Got three out of four wheels bled on the S70. Back left is still not flowingm, I’ll check the line for obstructions

No start, no crank. Battery good, remote start terminal just clicks. Probably need new starter

On the s70 brakes, the Creator gives us 0330 to do our best thinking.

I was bleeding the right rear unsuccessfully until, by chance , I turned the motor on, then suddenly it bled.

Hmmmm. I wonder if activating the ABS had something to do with it? ( I had just reinstalled the module )

I knew a guy who ran hunting dogs - he called them "pure-bred Mountain Curs" - and when they tangled with one, he mixed up a solution of cleaning vinegar and water 50/50 in a spray bottle. He said it was way less dangerous than trying to actually wash them , and it did help with the stink.

Repaired a seized rear windshield wiper assembly. The brass (assumed) shaft had significant corrosion and dirt and debris buildup within the metal holder. The shaft would not spin freely and had to be levered out with a liberal amount of grease. I though i had a dead motor as well however after removing the shaft i realized there was no bearing nor other means of rotating the shaft in the housing. I applied a liberal amount of white lithium grease and the wiper has a speed that matches up to the fastest speed of the front wipers. I took pictures and might do a writeup later. This was a 2 hour process with the majority of time spent tapping out the shaft, however my rear wiper works once again.

Things on the list to be done soon would be an oil change, 15000 km interval with full synthetic. Kirkland full synthetic comes tuesday for 52$ for 2x 5Qt containers. A transmission drain and fill. And working on the alternator.

I might have an exhaust leak which may lead to a new muffler or a patch job.

I got a spare coolant resovoir and will install it some time this week as mine has cracks and is delapitated.

That is beautifully rust free, Bob. Where do you live in Canada , or do you keep her out of salt roads?

Two bolt control arms are nice, four bolts are horrible
