I want to clean my tank but don't want to drop it because I understand I would have to remove the rear axle to do so? Assuming that is correct, in your opinion, is it doable to siphon the tank once basically empty through the fuel pump access and then basically "vacuum" it out and/or use some kind of lint free cloth? Or am I completely out of my mind?
Second question - I've had a couple climate control units go bad and wreck havoc on the CAN bus. Can anyone recommend where I could find the equivalent of a certified used one so I don't have to buy new from the dealer? The past two I got from eBay were no good - verified via oscilloscope after the fact.
Thank you.

Cleaning the tank. Why? If you think it is dirty why would you empty it with the fuel pump and fuel filter? It would be smarter to use a motor boat siphon bulb and examine what you remove.
Your climate control modules - why are they failing? Have you looked to see if Xemodex has a solution.
