well after many phone calls and threats to contact bbc watchdog and very lengthy debates with volvo uk i WON. volvo uk finally offered to pay wait for it 90% of the replacement of my old etm unit so instead of paying just a couple of pounds short of

Congratulations, you are only the second person that I know that has succeeded in getting help from Volvo. However, now you have an alternate, the XeMODeX/TDP rebuild service is available for the UK and the rest of the world except Continental Europe. See http://FixYourETM.com
