Fix for slow wipers

Even one of those butane lighters from the dollar store might do the trick. Just keep it moving around the area, not in one spot.
1994 850 5-speed wagon, retired at 400,000 km

I tried a few things in the end, none of which worked - I found a second hand linkage and motor at a reasonable price so thought I'd take a punt. Fitted it and everything now working fine. Finally !
Appreciate the help and advice. Cheers

Did you know 14 years ago when you posted this repair it would be useful in 2023? Doing the repair tonight on my '96 850 GLT. One problem, one of the circlips shot off the shaft into never land behind the work bench. Heading to hardware store tomorrow. Thanks again for the repair write up.
