Do you have a stock intercooler? My do88 IC makes it a bit of a pain to get in there and remove the ETM pipe or get the fan out. Otherwise, I guess I've done it enough times at this point that I can have it all apart in about 5 minutes. My cousin has no idea how I do it, he has a hell of a time with it on his S70!

Unsuccessfully tried to install the power steering hoses onto Elizabeth the T5

Only crows feet work in there. I’ll probably have to drop the sub frame next week to get this done

It is really tight working in there and my sausage fingers make it tight to get 2 hands where I need them at the same time. I got there in the end, but I don't recall having this much difficulty the previous times I have been in there.

Hopefully tomorrow I can put it all back together as I have my friends V70 coming over on Saturday for some smaller jobs and then my buddies sons S60 mid-week next week for engine mount work and to figure out where the oil leak is. I have suspicions it might be the pcv pipe to the top of the valve cover that has become so hard it can no longer seal on the metal pipe.

That close-up is the water jacket around cylinder 1.

I installed a cheap Jensen Head Unit so I can listen to music via Bluetooth and also get phone calls handsfree. Probably saved a few pounds over the Volvo unit as well.

Sorry bmdubya, I missed your question on the intercooler. I do use the OE standard intercooler. Didn't see any point installing anything else as with an automatic trans, the car is already running near the trans recommended limit which is around 320 bhp. I did have a problem with the original when I discovered the stupid design where they glue the supports on to the sides and the fall off allowing the intercooler to rattle around which in turn wore a hole in it at one small area. I had a radiator repair shop clean it inside and out and then they repaired it for me. I them screwed the support panels on.
