Yes they do have the same length. Forgot about them using the shorties. I wounder if P2 lugbolts would work?

If it helps abscate, the bolt/thread section from the cone area is the same as the regular 'tall' headed chrome bolt. The difference is the head itself. It is about half the height more like a P2 bolt but without the loose collar:

wow, a 3 Liter Opel Omega in British disguise. Always wanted one of them. By the time I had my driver's license in 1998 they were too rusty to purchase.

Mine had to have the whole hood replaced at 5 years old as it rusted through! In fact I had to have the whole car de-rusted and re-painted at that time. Rust was an issue.

I can't find my spare tall-head lug bolts to measure them. I trust the eBay link above that the rough measurements are: threaded section 1.5", cone 0.5", hex head 0.5" They are part 31280299. Thanks for checking.

You are welcome! They are also the bolts they used to supply with cars with steel rims and plastic wheel covers.

Geronimo got its new (old) seats! The owner loves them, saying they brighten up the car (new are oak, old were beige). Thanks to abscate for pulling them from the V70 I donated.

What can I harvest from the old seats? Driver's adjustment motors and buttons, seat heaters, passenger's seat back? Is it easy to hack off the foam so I can take the metal to the scrap yard?

Pop the springs off amd the foam will fall off. There are five ? Heavy springs at the rear of the seat bottom which cone out with Channelocks and healthy hand pressure ( Caitlin pulled them off by hand, scary) then the bottom foam pivots up from the rear and out.

I’m slowly filling the Maine box with parts again.

I’ve found a bunch of lug nuts with short heads. Rusty but will clean up nicely.
Brake bleeders
I think I have two intake VVT solenoids. Checking part numbers
Coolant reservoir bottle

HVAC damper motor NH…which one do you need? MCC or ECC? Part number best of course
