Engine mounts
The last parts I need to physically install my engine and transaxle in my 850 are the mounts. FCP and IPD both sell mounts, but of varying quality and WIDELY varying price. Which manufacturers are okay, and which ones do I want to avoid?

Hutchison are now thought to be the OE supplier. I have used their parts in the past with no issues.
I have seen others use other brands other then OE but I tend to like to do the job once! I used a Rein crank pulley mount on a 96 850 NA and it lasted about 2 years and separated.
Neil.

OEM is also most expensive.

It is just my opinion, not proven through true Scientific Method, that the budget front and back mounts are solid rubber, not fluid filled like from the factory, leading to lots of extra noise and vibration. Like Neil, I used an inexpensive right mount once, and it sagged well before its time. That one isn't hateful to change, but the other two are., so I would be tempted to spend the money on the buried mounts, and take a chance on the right side and top torque units.

And as mentioned elsewhere here, there is a chassis break on the left (front) mount, so some research would be needed if this option is explored.

Thanks for linking my sale thread! I'm moving in a few weeks, and if they work for OP, I'll def consider a pretty good discount. I just want them gone soon.
The thread has a post with the potential fitment details for the right mount.

Also keep in mind, you can easily (if you have the parts) covert from one chassis mount to the other by unbolting the mount-mating piece from the block, and switching it over to the other block. I've done that before you can easily do it with the engine in the car, even simpler for OP who has engine out of the vehicle.
OP is installing an RN engine, likely that works with the later-chassis-P80 mount that FlyingVolvo is selling.
