I recorded about 8 minutes of drive following rpm, throttle position, cam angle unfortunately I didn’t have a load parameter available on my AUTEL. I did half suburban driving then a few minutes hard acceleration to highway speeds

I’ll try to figure out how to port the data here. From the glances I took at the screen, it looks like the VVT only runs on full advance / retard mode and only modulates when running down at no load/ idle

It might be that you need the valve to control the oil pressure at the VVT head over the varying oil pressure on over run and at cold engine temps
