I'm coming up empty on finding the 979153 plug.

I could make my own connector, but that would negate reinstalling the stock type, if needed. (Not too big of a deal, really)
i had the same issue because it was a typo. if you look at the original post pics you can see part number is 978153
but by the time i figured that out i had already ordered a set of 5 male plugs and 5 female plugs
Thanks for that. I wound up making my own connector, but the MAC valve TCV has just failed I think, as we've been seeing a P0245 code the past couple of weeks, and there is power to the unit. I have a Pierberg one on order that we're going to install.

Hello , i just purchased this mac valve , but ias not working with my car (volvo 850 T5 M4.3) Until today i used IPD 2nd Valve but i had some issues , so i decided to change it. Could you please tell me if there is polarity on connection or the hose routing is different from IPD? Thank you!

The Mac unit is supposed to be faster to respond, so you get more consistent and reliable boost. However the problem that's been found over the years is that they don't hold up to daily driving very well. I have heard that they are good for track use though.
