Cant find a wire that open/lock doors

On other cars i have used the wire from open lock button inside the car.

The open lock button sits together with window and mirror adjustment on the door

I bought this one from ebay:

To open and close the doors

My one and only key went in the washing machine

Have 3 keys now with taping original chip to sensor and bought blank keys on ebay

But i have stick the key in the door to lock the car

Way to expensive to buy original key with remote

What exactly broke? ID48 (immobilizer, glass pill) or the remote fob got reset in hot, soapy water? I think the latter one can be programmed again.

The immobilizer is now glued to sensor around key hole. So every key works without immobilizer.

The remote part is not working. I also think programming it could work.

But this cost way more plus i want two remotes

Can i install a universal remote unit to open/close doors on my 2005 v70 and how?

Dont need anymore question like:
"Does it turn on the TV and the VCR too?"
Or "Why you need this?"

You need to integrate that thing with your car's CAN bus and send lock/unlock messages.

I would tap into pin 1 or 5 on the door module, see attached. This is for a petrol car , we don’t get diesels in North America

One of those pins Will be a 5 volt logic, the other the trigger to toggle the locks

A universally remote would then connect that signal to the DDM
