It's a wonderful feeling getting the engine back in its place. Second only to hearing start up for the first time !
Good work !

Yeah, the accessory drive is from the 850.
It fits, though - after a fashion.

Since I have to wait to get the rest of the engine mounts, I thought I'd take care of some other items.
First up, I plumbed the turbo with vacuum lines. They're on there so tight I'm not going to bother with clamps.
Then I found out the fan shroud won't clear the power steering pressure line. I'll probably trim it to fit.
Then I started unwrapping the wiring harness, starting with the coolant sensor and working backwards. I have the injector connections unwrapped in preparation for rerouting and new tape & conduit.

I would replace any plastic wire loom that shows any signs of deterioration. They will never get any easier to reach. Use only high temperature rated loom.

From what I can see, the wiring itself looks solid. There don't seem to be any breaks in the insulation, the colors are all still pretty vibrant, the connector insulation is intact and smooth. The wiring's stiff from thermal cycling, but I'm going slow and careful with it. The conduit and electrical tape are pretty sooty and nasty, but I've actually got two separate harnesses to work with - the one that came with the engine from the junkyard, and one I bought separately.
Most likely, I'll replace all the conduit and rewrap it in fresh tape.

A few updates.
I installed the spark plugs and coil packs.
Started running new wiring conduit:
Continued mapping out the reconfigured wiring harness:
Test fit some parts like the computer box base, the overflow tank, the engine's cosmetic covers & upper mount and if you look down by the radiator, the lower wiring guide:
Here're a few overall shots:

This is looking incredible! I would suggest you may want to wrap the coil and VVC wires over the head to help protect from the heat. Even using the split corrugated cable cover would help. Cars came with this originally so I can only assume it was for this reason in the decade of decomposing wiring harnesses! You may have already done this as I saw in one picture a short piece in place.
