Hello all,
My BBA rebuilt ABS computer is starting to act up so I reached out about their lifetime warranty. I have not heard back and their phones go unanswered. Some Google reviews are showing that the building was seized back in December of last year... Has anyone worked with them recently?
Is BBA Remanufacturing still around?

Sorry no. That would be a shame as they were a good company. I have always used out friend Matty Moo at Mid-West ABS for my ABS unit repairs. No issues with any so far, and reasonably priced too.

The government seized their property last year. A lot of people lost a lot of very expensive parts. I say nothing negative about any outfit or anybody ever but I was thrilled to see that place finally go. Every bba core I ever got back, which was at least 500 of them, was a trashed out siliconed mess. The entire outfit went completely downhill in their last two years in existence.
I did manage to buy all of their 96-98 abs modules from a core seller after they were shut down. The price wasn't good, they were all touched by them and had to be redone but they're getting scarce so I couldn't pass them up.

Wow, that's good to know. I had them repair the Bosch 5.7 ABS module in my E39 years ago. Guess I can say goodbye to that warranty!
Hopefully they take care of all the money their customers lost in that shutdown, considering the company likely still exists in the UK where they're based.

They have businesses in UK, France and in Canada as far as I can see. They used to have a good reputation in the UK.
Always sad to see a good company fade like this.

Hi, I just sent you a direct email as well, but I figured I'd ask here as well. My non-TRACS unit was repaired by BBA in 2007 and has worked great until October 2021. The ABS light has been coming on frequently, and today the speedometer stopped working for a while. I thin I need to have mine serviced again, can I send you my formally BBA rebuilt unit as a core, or do you need to just fix the one I currently have? Thanks in advance.Matty Moo wrote: ↑17 Oct 2021, 09:39 The government seized their property last year. A lot of people lost a lot of very expensive parts. That's fine with me, I've become pretty good at making them presentable again.
