Hi I am having the inlet and outlet trans lines replaced on my 850 n/a.
The outlet hose I got from FCP had no o-ring on the radiator connection side, only the metal clamp. The inlet hose I got from a Volvo dealer has a clear plastic o-ring on the radiator side, below the black o-ring in the nozzle.
I purchased what I thought were trans-side and radiator side o-rings from FCP. I know one of these goes on the trans-side, but what is the o-ring situation supposed to be on the radiator side? A green one, or is this clear plastic spacer thing supposed to stay on there? Attaching photos of the o-rings from FCP and the inlet radiator connection side. Any help is appreciated.

On radiator, what I remember there is only the one black and the clear ring as in the picture, noting else. The clip if you need it new.

Hmm, thanks Hausmeister. However, the lines I am working with are for the auto trans, not engine oil.
Does anyone else have specific experience with autotrans lines? Should both the inlet and outlet radiator side lines have this clear plastic o-ring and the black one as pictured? I don't have the outlet hose in front of me, its at the mechanic but I'm going to look at it this morning.
Also, both lines should have one of the small green o-rings on the steel trans-side end of the line, correct? If so, which one of the green o-rings in the picture are correct for this application?

O-ring plus clear sealing ring like in your pic. Hausmeister's part numbers are correct.
Volvo says 968757 is made for the other end of the oil cooler lines, back at the engine thermostat. Maybe it also works where the hoses enter the rad, don't know. And Volvo also lists 684213 and 968757 on the same page with different applications; I suspect they are different but maybe it works.
The three on the left are definitely not 684211, that is a metal clip.
