NGK spark plugs for 98 V70 NA base?

Normally I only use Volvo plugs on my own cars, and as some know I look after this car for my friend who is a single mum with kids. Money is tight and car needs a few service issues caught up with.

I was given a brand new set of NGK Iridium plugs for free and I believe they are correct for a 98 NA motor. Part number is:

BKR6EIX and stock number : 6418

Has anyone used these plugs and would recommend them? I don't want to use parts on the car that may cause issues as they rely on this car as a daily. As my car is a Turbo it is unlikely I will use these parts any time soon and they are part of my pass-it-forward stack where I have been given parts for free or nearly nothing. If I can safely save money for them then happy to pass them on!

Mine are BKR6EGP 7092 (platinum) and BKR6E 6962 (standard copper)

The first set is in the car, and the second set is newly purchased just in case I fouled the plugs by running too rich with a bad 02 sensor.

I would use them,but i would check the gap and re-gap if needed.

I planned to check and set to 0.028" if not already there. Most plugs I buy (not Volvo OE) are typically 0.025" so I always check.

Good advice though and a good reminder! Thanks Misha and 454cid for info.
