Greetings, new guy here...
I just acquired a 1990 manual 240 with no horn and the SRS light illuminated. Was able to reset the light, and the horns are loud and clear when jumped, but MIA from inside. Having never dismantled an airbag steering wheel before, all I really know about them is that they can hurt you if you do it wrong. Any tips on avoiding this, or advice if I have to, would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

According to the Haynes Volvo manual covering up to 1993, they recommend steering wheel removal by dealer service department (when it has SRS).

Bentley Publishers Volvo 240 Service Manual describes the cautions and process. Too long and important for me to try to write here. This is a great manual if you plan to keep this car.
