I’m heading to the yard tomorrow morning to do some shopping for the XC. They have a 1999 silver V70. I’ll check it out while I’m there.

Looks like a winner. Screw hole at the top is half broken, but you can use a washer or plastic weld. I’m going to carry it around while I’m shopping on XC’s. Let me know if you want it. Most likely in the $5-$15 range.

Not sure about the paint code, but I’m going back today. They have a real nice XC to pick from. It has brand new rear springs w/ the Volvo paper sticker tags still hanging on them and sachs shocks new looking. I have to get them now or these Richmond guys will beat me to them. I’ll see if I can get the paint code for you and take some pics. As far as the price, they charged me $3.99 for it and it was nothing to remove. We’ll just do 4 bucks plus shipping. I’ll have to find a box big enough.

Well, isn’t that smart of them, adding a connector by the door hinge.

Once I get it I can meet someone in Fredericksburg or the exit south of it which is the Thornburg exit. Depending on my work schedule, I’ll see if I can get it this week. They close at 5p. Certainly this weekend. We can take this to PM now.
