Removing adhesive from paint..and wax?

I have door edge moulding on my 2006 OR. The adhesive has migrated out of the moulding and now on the door. I want to remove the moulding and clean up the door edge. What will remove the adhesive? I also have the OR badges that fell off and left the adhesive. Tried WD40...Goof Off....no luck.
I also want to wash and wax my car. Has anyone tried the Turte Wax Hybrid Seal and Shine or ceramic coating?

Have you tried panel wipe fluid?

I'm trying to remember what I used to remove all the adhesive from an old 3M film on my car a few years back. I think it was either GOOF OFF or GOO GONE. If all else fails call an auto detailer or paint repair shop.

Goo Gone generally works for adhesive residue. The nuclear option is acetone.

I use gasoline (get some from the gas can used for lawn mower) and it usually comes off.
Just go easy, don't rub too hard.

For removing gooy/sticky tape residue I first try vegetable oil. If that doesn’t work I go to paint thinner. Never had an issue with paint thinner attacking the paint but test it in an inconspicuous spot if you’re unsure.

Acetone. Dab the glue and just the glue with a cotton ball or cotton swab damp but not wet with Acetone. Let it soak for a few minutes. Wipe off with a clean cloth. Repeat until you get all the glue off. What do not allow the Acetone to dry on the paint. Do a little bit at a time. Work in the shade not in direct sunlight. In the cool of the early morning or at night with artificial lighting. That will slow down the evaporation rate of the Acetone and give you time to with with it.

Keep flipping and refolding the clean cloth.

Acetone is the same as nail polish remover if you don’t have actual acetone around.

Some nail polish removers are 100% Acetone. Walmart carries one brand ,Onyx , that is 100% Acetone. Other nail polish removers are are a fraction of Acetone with other ingredients. Some nail polish remover contain no Acetone. Read the label before using.
