Help identifying connection

Post by Ryno2253 »

First post here just bought my first Volvo, a p2 xc70 last week.

Had (what I believe to be) the vvt solenoid go out a few hours ago and saw this connection was disconnected.
Could this possibly be the cause or if not what is it?

Thanks in advance

I think that’s the coolant level sensor connector, but on RHD nothing is where it “ should be”

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.
