Hy Buddies,
I am going back to school. I feel like I'm missing some knowledge to be able to properly handle all the regular maintenance on my 850.
I will follow distance learning courses via videos, chats and PDF documents, in order to be able to take the mechanic exam in June 2023 (Vocational certificate obtained 2 years after the 8th grade). At the same time, the training will allow me to find an internship master (garage) who works with the school, and with whom I will have to realize 12 weeks of practice "on the field". I will have to use my 5 weeks of vacations acquired during my job, and also work on Saturdays. Because I have a "higher" level of education (BSC Degree (Bachelor of Science) in real estate legal), I am exempted from the more academic subjects (math, physics, chemistry, English, French, history, geography).
I hope the translation of school tiles will be understandable.
Manov

Well I have to say I am very impressed that you are going back to school to learn about something you clearly have learned to enjoy!
I went back to school about 10 years ago to learn autocad for designing pipework for the oil industry. I completed 8/10 sections when they discovered they had no one to run the 9th course for maybe a year! Then they offered to transfer me to the full time course but I had to pay the whole cost of the course having already paid for 80% of it I had completed! At that point I was so tired of dealing with stupidity at the collage I called it a day. It was interesting training but then they also updated to full autocad from hand drawing and autocad which meant part of my course was out of date.
Learning alongside younger folks was interesting and enjoyable.
So well done Manov! Salute!
Neil.

New homework final result : A.
The subject was how to change oil on a car. The folder explains how to, not useful to tell, anyone here does the oil changing eyes closed, so... !
It allows me to show you how i organize my homework. I'm not a genius, i didn't invent anything. Just to tell i lead my subject.
I will make a pause of a week in my studies, i've finaly found a garage to create my 850 Workshop. All my tools together, at least ! Pictures and videos to come.

Good and thorough job I'd say. Now if I only read French...................!
Actually I did take French in school 45+ years ago. Sometimes it amazes me that I still can read some and understand it too!
Nice work and congratulations!
Neil.
