Erratic Idle on 1991 240 sedan
I've been working on a 91' 240 sedan with 240k kilometers on the clock. It has a K&N air filter, Magnecor wire set, Bosch platinum plugs, new cap, rotor, screens removed from mass airflow sensor and most recently frt &rr pads, rotors, and calipers and a fresh fluid bleed with new flexlines, etc. With the engine running, when I step on the brake pedal, the idle surges and settles again when I release the pedal. I read on the IPD site about the brake booster fitting sometimes causing a vacuum leak and was wondering if this might contribute to the idle surge. Any ideas or input is appreciated.

It certainly sounds like what IPD describes.

get the screens back on the MAF. It won't take much to damage those very fine wires.
Let us know if you fix the problem.
Cheers
