Kinda forgot about this as I was dealing with bigger volvo issues
Pictures are from a 98 C70 coupe.

That seems to match BEJinFbk description, I have the grounding wire for the coupe on pin 2.

I cant exactly see where the cable is going, but I'd say it's probably around 50cm/20in long.
You can see it coming from the driver side on this picture from when I removed the dash

I have one question. There appears to be 3 wires on the green connector to the rear of the radio and only 2 at the speaker end. Do you know if the black wire that is separate from the other 2 is a ground lead or where that goes to?

The black wires disappears into the big loom behind the dash, but the multimeter says it's a ground.
