All new tires, balanced and installed at a tire place.
it took a breaker bar and 2 pipes to break them loose.
why don't they just weld the lugs on, i can always remove with the plasma cutter.
What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

Donn,I might have these in stock if you want to move that job. Ping me on phone if interested.DonnVa wrote: ↑17 Jun 2022, 08:27 Replaced the spark plugs, air filter and fuel filter. I piddled around a bunch on the XC and S60. I’m going to do the timing belt service as soon as the water pump arrives w/ the sealant treated bolts. Those two have been in and out of stock and I just didn’t catch them at the right time. I saw them in stock last evening and I ordered them. The XC should be pretty up to date w/ service when I complete that.

Thanks again! Mine are shipping on Monday or Tuesday. I’ll have them for next weekends planned activities. So, I did a couple more things on the XC. I had only one arm attached on the rear section of the exhaust, the other rusted off. I cut that off and installed that hanger mod kit. I also installed that cargo/dog netting option into my rear seat backs. What a deal at the pick a part for a misc. netting price of $2.99. Oh and I did clean and rearrange my garage. That’s about as clean as it’s going to get. Lolabscate wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 00:28Donn,I might have these in stock if you want to move that job. Finally had an ignition coil go today on the S60. Had to drive 250km today, started up in the morning and had a struggling idle.
50km later a message comes on my (French) display that translated to Speed up or slow down, hahaha. Googled and saw it meant Slow down or shift up. Code revealed p0301. Have about 10 I grabbed for $5 a pop from my last Detroit junkyard visit. Replaced in 5min and she’s running good as new. Feels like the first time I’ve gotten lucky on this car.

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.

Had a headlight go out, so decided to replace both of them with new H7 bulbs. I also replaced the front turn signal/parking lights, and all of the rear lights.
Thankfully I have small enough hands that I can squeeze them into where the front turn signal/parking lights are without removing anything other than the rear headlight cover. I was also surprised how easy the rear bulbs are to change. Volvo actually designed them to be easily replaced!
Big problem on the way back home from the parts store. Messages about bulbs not working, even though I checked and can see that they're lit up. I should've did a search here for the correct bulbs.
For those that aren't sure which bulbs are the correct replacements, this is the best place for information. I don't know why I didn't search here first, but now I know which bulbs I need and can hopefully get rid of the messages on the dash tomorrow after installing the correct bulbs.

Finished replacing the rest of my rear bulbs with the correct ones. Now all 14 bulbs in the rear work as they should.
Still having problems with the right front turn signal only working when it wants to. It has a new bulb in it, and even when I swap them from one side to the other it's still the right front that doesn't work. Sometimes the parking light doesn't work either, so I'm thinking there's a short somewhere that I haven't found yet. (Unless someone else has had this same issue and can point me to the possible problem causing my issue(s).)
