When I test drive it to see if it has torque the wheels will spin a bit. Then it looses all the power on the next launch.
Interesting thought….. What happens when you push the “W” button on and off a couple times.

Do you have the same circumference tires on all four corners?

I pressed the W button a few times not sure if it is supposed to light up like it’s on. But I did not get any indicator light that it was activated. It did see to have a slower take off though.
All 4 tires were replaced at the same time.

I have a 2003 V70 2.4 NA. Just went out and started it up. The W and an orange light just above the W both illuminate when it’s activated. No indicator on the DIM. I’m not sure about the importance of the lights working or not.

thats normal, it starts off in 2nd gear with W selected.

The lock out on the shifter is actuated by the brake pedal so either step on or remove your foot from the pedal in park.
My foot twitches and sets the shifter lockout solenoid off.

When I pull the battery cables off then reattach them it drives fine for a bit. Then It looses power and feels like I’m starting in like 3rd gear.

I got a used OEM throttle body off eBay to replace the off-brand one I installed. Still did not fix the issue.
