Fuel line, pump to filter 2000 V70 XC AWD

Post by Steve in Beacon »

Can anyone help me with a replacement for this line? It is part number 9445508 and of course no longer available. It is hell to access, and on my New York State car is rusted out. The ends, which are a plastic material--including the quick-connects for the fuel pump and filter--have a little of the metal pipe that is still usable.

Does anyone know of a source for this part, a way of getting around it by using, say, aftermarket quick connects that I can easily attach to a hose or line, or even the size of the fuel line that would fit over the existing ends? It should be do-able...perhaps there is an available part that could be twisted to fit...

Thanks for reading!

Ask abscate as he just replaced the lines on his S70 AWD and came up with some creative solutions.

Here are some links to that project, and the correct fuel adapter for the pump.

I think you can get o this by dropping the right side front torsion arm mount, then easing the empty fuel tank down to access the fuel pump.

I’m a couple hours North of you during week, usually on Long Island weekends. Is it driveable or leaking fuel?

I have the angled tool necessary for releasing the lines, and the right angle fuel bayonet connector for the pump too.
