Moved my S70 from the street up on our driveway because they’re repaving our street. Noticed I have a flat on one of the front tires. Both front tires look severely worn, rear tires has thick thread depth and look great. So, two new tires upfront and an alignment should do it. Not sure which tires I’m gonna buy. The ones I have now are Kumhos.

And whats that shop with all the Volvos? I'd be impressed by a place which could service that wide range of years.

Re-installed the lower panel, under the steering wheel, above the pedals, that I had forgotten about. I had removed it when I replaced the brake switch. I cleaned it last night, and this afternoon put it back in place.

Finally tracked down a Dolby surround sound center speaker dash top. Only fault is a common crack in the speaker case surround.

I have been tracking this one locally but had a challenge getting contact with the owner. Even my usual West coast Volvo specialist breakers came up empty. I have not see one of these in the local PnP's in over 15 years. None, NADA!!

They guy had lost his much loved S70 T5SE due to hail damage a couple of years ago. He has a bunch of parts available so I suggested he send me a list so I can post it for him. There are for example a tuned ECU and TCU putting out 275 bhp! Also a set of WHITE injectors.

Now just need the head unit to speaker cable and I can fit this this winter when the dash comes out for mount repairs.

I bought two new lightly used front tires. $90 out the door. Had some even wear bit not much. Was gonna go and get them aligned just to find out vodi’s in GG had closed permanently. Got a tip of another place. Aiming to get it done this week.

Nah they just used two jacks when doing it. Seems more common here than to put it on a hoist. Im not sure if any bay had a hoist? I sat in the shade trying to escape the sun.

Dropped my car by the exhaust shop and ended with a new cat, 2 resonators, and tubing. The car is the quietest its every been and smoothness is back. No issues with acceleration. The muffler worker told me the old catalytic converter was straight empty due to breakdown and the car was effectively straight piped. Now it sounds much more civilized
