Need Front Passenger Side Rug 1998 v70

Hello there,

Apparently the garage i took it too stole my front passenger side rug. Strange thing to do but then he's a strange guy.
They lost the cap, stole the rug.

The color is 'silver' or 'gray' but i guess black would be ok.

Any ideas where to get a replacement that fits the car and not a 'universal' type rug?

Can you post a picture of the drivers side floor mat for comparison??

A junkyard may be your best bet. I have several sets of OE mats and rubber mat versions in different colors, and they are usually cheap at the junkyards. I would send but as I have full sets I really don't want to split sets. They are heavy so shipping from Canada is pricey.

Put in a junkyard request at classifieds. I might need a rear one in charcoal for Kat the 99 so we might want to piggy back on this. P80s are getting scarcer in the yards, no rugs left on this one…

They are out there in junkyards. Like I said I have several sets but I think most are the rubber type and a couple of sets of gray carpeted sets. I have not had time to clean them all yet but here are a couple of examples:

None as I said have been cleaned yet. The 'R' versions were from my car and probably won't sell those. I have a bunch of others including 740/740 beige plastic snow mats, a couple of P2 sets as well as more gray and I think beige rubber mat sets for P80's.

No idea why I bought so many but when I see them at the junkyard and they are in good condition but just dirty I will pull them. Just haven't got around to doing anything with them yet!

I can tell they are OEM probably the original ones. In the pics you posted i can see they are the carpet ones.
Yeah too bad shipping got higher in recent days and takes longer too sometimes.

If it gets too hard to get one maybe i'll give up and just get a universal one for the front passenger side. What the heck

Yeah that one rug you show looks like a front drivers side but it has a big "R" on it. Not sure why ha ha. I'll check mine on that side too in a day or so when i got out there again.

R is for 850 'R' or V70 'R'. I have a V70R.

Shipping to abscate takes about a week in Albany. I would have to see cheapest way to get there.

Anyway, I really don't want to split a set as finding a single mat to replace one is not always easy. If you can post a picture of the color next time I am at PnP/junkyard I can see if there is a decent passenger one in gray? I think they charge about $2-3 CDN/mat.

Shipping one mat should be too horrible. A least it is Canada Post and not USPS who charge stupid amounts!

Looks like only the RHD C70 version is available there , trunk Matt looks nice though
